Here is a list of books and videos that I recommend.   There are many more out there.

DVD & BluRay Videos:

My Father's Garden, Miranda Productions, 56 min.  This is an older documentary film, but it is a timeles one.  It includes some history of chemical use and how it shortened the life of Herbert Smith, an orange grower in Florida.  Fred Kirschenmann tells about changing his dad's farm back to organic methods and letting God and nature work as intended.       http://www.mirandaproductions.com/

Business Advice for Organic Farmers, Richard Wiswall, 122 min.

Chemistonvaccines.com  -  www.chemistonvaccines.com     The first lesson in medicinal chemistry is, "one size doesn't fit all." Every medicine is different for all people. To push ALL vaccines as safe and effective breaks this lifesaving rule... When it comes to a child's health, any and all vaccine talk is healthy and mandatory…as long as it's rooted in logic. Unfortunately, you'll never find this in the media. For almost a hundred years, they've beaten us over the head with marketing speak such as, "vaccines are safe and effective," "vaccines have saved us all from deadly childhood diseases," "vaccines don't cause autism," and of course we can't forget the infamous, "Vaccines saved us from polio." The headlines have become so common and brazen that any talk against vaccines is assumed abusive and risky to our beloved children. No matter how illogical, this has led to mandated vaccination in California and other states. (If vaccines were so great, why mandate them?) Farmageddon, Kristen Marie Productions, 90 min.  The story of a mom whose son healed from all allergies and asthma after consuming raw milk, and real food from farms. It depicts people all over the country who formed food co-ops and private clubs to get these foods, and how they were raided by state and local governments.

Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, Joe Cross, 97 min.   Tipping the scales at 310 lbs, Joe saw a path laid out before him that wouldn't end well. Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead is an inspiring film that chronicles Joe's personal mission to regain his health. With doctors and conventional medicines unable to help long-term, Joe turns to the only option left, the body's ability to heal itself. He trades in the junk food and hits the road with juicer in tow, vowing only to drink fresh fruit and vegetable juice for 60 days.

Fed Up, Stephanie Soechtig, 99 min.   Fed Up blows the lid off everything we thought we knew about food and exercise, revealing a 30-year campaign by the food industry aided by the U.S. government to mislead and confuse the American public. Exposing the hidden truths contributing to one of the largest health epidemics in history, the film follows a group of families battling to lead healthier lives and reveals why the conventional wisdom of exercise and eat right is not ringing true for millions of people struggling with diabetes, childhood obesity and other serious conditions. Including captivating interviews with the country's leading experts, this vital information could change the way we eat forever.
